- General Policy Statement
This Refund and Returns Policy applies to all transactions made through the Ejarrgo platform. By using our services, you agree to adhere to the terms outlined herein. - Eligibility for Refunds
Renters are entitled to request a refund for their bookings under the following conditions:- Request Timing: Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the commencement of the rental period.
- Condition of Item: The rented item must be returned in its original condition, including all accessories and packaging.
- Completed Payment: Refund requests will only be processed after payment for the rental has been confirmed.
- Non-Refundable Fees
Certain fees associated with your booking are non-refundable, including:- Booking Fees: Fees charged at the time of reservation.
- Delivery or Pickup Fees: Any additional fees incurred for the delivery or collection of the rented item.
- Security Deposit
To ensure the safe return of rented items, vendors may require a security deposit from renters. This deposit will be specified in the rental agreement and is held until the item is returned and assessed for any damages.- Refund of Security Deposit: If the item is returned in satisfactory condition, the deposit will be refunded to the renter’s original payment method within 5-7 business days.
- Deductions from Security Deposit: In the event that the item is returned late or with damage, the vendor reserves the right to deduct an appropriate amount from the security deposit to cover repair costs or rental fees for the extended period.
- Refund Request Process
To initiate a refund request, renters must follow these steps:- Log in to their Ejarrgo account and navigate to the “My Bookings” section.
- Select the relevant booking and click on the “Request Refund” button (this will be available post-payment confirmation).
- Provide a detailed explanation for the refund request, including any supporting documentation (such as photographs of the item).
- Review and Processing of Refunds
Upon receipt of a refund request, the Ejarrgo admin team will conduct a review, which typically takes 3-5 business days.- Approval Notification: Renters will receive notification of the outcome of their request via email.
- Processing Timeline: If approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method. Renters should allow 5-7 business days for the refund to appear in their account.
- Returns of Rented Items
For items that require return:- Return Timeline: Renters must return the item within 3 days of receiving refund approval.
- Condition Requirement: Items must be returned in the same condition as received, with all components intact.
- Cancellation Policy
Renters may cancel their booking at any time prior to the rental period, subject to the following terms:- Full Refund: Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled start date will receive a full refund, excluding non-refundable fees.
- Partial Refund: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the start date will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
